Default Help on CV joint...

Alright... Here we go try to stay with me on this one. Yesterday, i was installing my new suspension, ands i left my knuckle assembly hanging in midair for a bit(like a dumbshit) and now when i go to reassemble it, It is like the axle is too long?!?! I removed the CV joint to inspect it, and i belive that is some thing to do with the 3-way bearing(you know what im talking about). The part that actually goes into the tranny hasnt moved. It has to be something further out. I need any and all help please i am getting very frustrated.

the cv joint probably stretched out, push it back together.

Happens all the time when you pull on the fronts to remove the axle.

NVM fixed it... You have to pull the tri-pot bearings outward to get them to seat in the race... I didnt know that(neither did Helms manual)..LOL
