Default fuel rail problem wont seat.

bought a b16 head came with intake manifold and rail.

heres the problem. without injectors the rail will seat flush but the part where the 3 studs and nut go. the threads run out a little short and the plain part protrudes. when i put the injectors in and tighten the nuts i have a slight gap. is there suppose to be a gap?... is there something suppose to go inbetween the gaps?

im considering just using bolts instead of the studs because when i tried installing the the rail with injectors on, the nuts ended so as i went reverse the whole studs came out with it.

btw its not an o ring problem. and the rubber stoppers that are also on the injectors compress to the point that its smush. is it suppose to be smush as well?

ok i looked at it for a while and found out the studs were all loose and on top of that werent matching. so i found 3 matchign sets off a spare manifold i had and used those. now it seats better but still not flush. it comes down at an angle as if the injectors are pushing it back from the top but the bottm actually touches. any ideas? maybe i need to cut those rubber pieces i posted up there down to size a bit?

edit: just found out the rail is off a gsr... now to find out whether the gsr rail will work with b16 manifold

editx2: they are interchangeable

you realize that there are supposed to be spacers inbetween the fuel rail and the intake manifold studs right?

yeah their about half inch spacers that sit between the rail and the intake manifold on the studs. without them it puts stress on the injectors and does not seat them properly in the intake manifold ports.

Goodluck.
