Grinding noise on the front pass.

whenever i'm in first gear and i'm at about 2-4krpm i hear i grindin noise and its continious untill i get out of 1st in2 2nd and i cant figure out what the hell it is...axel...bearing...help ne1?

is it at idle..? or what.. does it grind while in first gear..

no..not at idle..when i have my foot on the pedal just a little....it starts makin a grindin sound...its DRIVIN me NSANE...

grinding eh... if it was a clicking while you were turning it would be the CV shaft but im not sure if that grinds or not.

only in 1st.... so when your in second theres no grinding???? sounds like a tranny problem to me. I had grinding when my car was in any gear when i would let off the clutch.... turned out to be the clutch bearing.... maybe its the same for you...
