Default headlight problem

please bare with me, im not very car savvy...so today i replaced both my low beam bulbs on my 1996 honda accord lx. i put in new silverstars looking to achieve a "white" look with my new bulbs. this look was achieved on the passenger side bulb, but the light is much more "yellow" on the drivers side bulb. this makes it appear like one bulb is brighter/more dominant. it was like that before replacing the bulbs as well. ive already check and it doesnt appear that i have any film on the plastic covers or anything. does anyone know what could be happening to make this one bulb not be "white" and be more "yellowish"? thanks for the help

Are you sure you replaced the low beams on both sides and not the low on one and the high on the other?

Locate and clean the ground connection for that Lamp (where the ground wire connects to the chassis). It sounds like you're suffering from low voltage. Any kind of poor / dirty connection will act like a resistor in the system.

slow down.

my accord is a project to say the least. happily it will "finally" be out of paint in the next week or so, it is actually on a trailer headed to a different city as a type this to get squirted. no it does not have headlights. yes all vehicles come with headlights (at least those that are street/night legal)

yea i agree with P-Adams,,, it seems to be a low voltage problem,, try switching the bulbs around to see if it works well in the other socket,, if it doesnt, then you know there is a voltage problem
