Broken radiator peice??
Ok i just bought a Sohc ZC motor, and i was taking it out from my trunk to garage, while doing this, i accidentally dropped it on the floor, but not badly, it was like 2 inches from the ground anyways. But doing so, i noticed that i broke off party of the engine that connects to the radiator, i know taht this is bolted in so i will be able to replace this right? Also a screw got broken off as well. i will have pics up in the morning.
^(Crappy typing, will rephrase later)
what should i do?

If you're talking about the water intake, yes, you can replace it. I once tightened my bleed bolt too tight and the water intake snapped in half. I went to Autozone to get a new piece and they gave me the intake for the tstat housing.
In other words, they didn' thave it.
So I went to the junkyard and got two of them from other cars of the exact same model.
Be sure, however, to get the gasket when you replace the intake.

Yep.
That's the exact piece I was talking about. You'll either have to get a new one from Honda or the junkyard. It will end up costing you about $4 at the junkyard. Don't torque the bolts too tight when you put it back on. Torque it snug, or better yet get a service manual to get teh actual torque settings.
I drove to 3 different auto stores to get that part. No one has it. Like I said, just go to the junkyard. You should be able to get one from any stock EF.
And like I said, get a new gasket before you put it on. The gasket costs like $.75

The water jacket that you broke has a gasket. He's saying replace that while you are putting on the new water jacket since its $0.75

it is not the thermostat housing. did you see the thermostat when it broke off?
the termostat is on the back of the block.
you need the gasket for the piece that broke off or use form-a-gasket..
you don't need a head gasket.

I didn't say that you needed a new headgasket. I said you needed a new gasket for the piece that broke. Each metal piece has a small gasket that goes in between the two metal pieces. The gasket on that piece is the same shape as the exposed metal when you take it off. (like a rounded rectangle).
Go to the junkyard and get a new water intake. Bring a 10mm socket wrench to get it off. Go to Autozone and bring the part with you. Tell them it's the water intake and that you want the gasket for it. There are only two gaskets that they can give you. One will be rubber, and it's for the thermostat. The other will be small (the same size as the exposed metal when you take your piece off) and shaped like a rounded rectangle. That is what you want. It will run you $1 max.
Apply some gasket sealer to your gasket and then bolt on your new piece that you just got from the junkyard. Install your engine and bleed your radiator when you fill it. Since you used a gasket and gasket sealer it will not leak.
you do not need a head gasket. Your engine is actually FULL of MANY times of gaskets. The head gasket is just one of them. References to "gasket" does not imply "head gasket."

Oh, and if you can't find one of those pieces I have an extra one in my garage. It'll cost ya though. Whenever a piece breaks on my car I always get two just in case. I can't find that piece for crap on honda's website, but like I said you can get loads of them at the junkyard.
