sir bumper blues
ok welp the inevitable has happened....a week b4 i get my 88 rolling wit the swap i thought i had an ef8 bumper lined up and on its way...but that was bullshit....so now im screwed...i have a car but no bumper...
ive tried tons of places and emailed a **** load of sellers who sold anything remotely close to anything from a jdm rex in hopes to get lucky BUT no one has one and the ppl who do have one want to charge me 500 for shipping (ok he doesnt WANT to charge me it but shipping from malaysia is a bitch)....ive tried password, hmotors, jdmland, rimsandthings.....blah blah blah...
so now i turn to you guys.....can anyone help me or give me any pointers other than giving up or buying the mugen replica front (i dont want a bodykit)

Mugen replica looks good
Doesn't stand out like a "blitz" body kit. Looks stock. On top of that, I have bumper lights and headlights (with bulbs) if you want to buy them. AND there is a guy in NJ selling his is EF8 hood.

i have all the parts for the ef8 conversion (minus the bumper lights but im not really worried about them considering i dont have the bumper)
thx anyways

seriously it would save a lot of frustration...they do it all the time for old school muscle cars u see ppl buying replica grills and replica chrome bumpers....nobody wants to make an assload of money i guess
problem is when i bought my 88si a year ago i got it from a junk yard and it was being pieced apart....no hood....no fenders....and the bumper was ripped to shreds...so i wanted something different in my area that ive never seen (weve got a ton of ricers and of course they all need to ruin a crx)
if i buy the mugen replica im thinking it will look like **** mainly bc (no offense to you guys out there just my opinion) i dont want to waste my money on the side panels or whatever the hell they are and the rear lip....i like a stock looking car...

If they are all riced out then wouldn't you, in a sense, be "different" by staying stock and looking clean?
BTW, there's a crx for sale in West Chester with the front end conversion already done and painted. $2200 takes the whole car.

odds are if i wanted to go back to usdm stock i would be spending a **** load more for oem honda parts (i wouldnt want the replicas which still sell for 150...i had a price check on fenders a while back bc i was considering this...thats 150 each also)....and junk yards around me arent exactly a crx oasis...so i figured why not save some money and be a little bit different
...wish i wouldve seen that car a while ago but ive already put too much money towards my rolling chassis...and also considering i have a **** load of parts lying around
