Ignition stuck???? what to replace???
i recently bought a "new" 90 civic std.... thieves jacked it and messed up the ignition cylinder... up until yesterday i was driving it around with a busted key and i discovered i could pull the key out and the car would still drive... i guess this is because the tumbler is messed up
anyways, somehow the ignition got stuck on the "0" position and locked the steering column...i searched around and drilled out the spring that locked the steering column... but now i still cant get the ignition out of "0"... at least before i could start the car, but i cant even turn the new key i got cut at the dealership...
i decided to get a new ignition cylinder/switch but im confused as to what exactely i need... new OEM parts are way to expensive and almost cost as much as the car...so i searched on ebay and found this...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW
another...

is this everything i need to get it started again... i'll probably have a mechanic do it cause i live in an apartment and dont have time, space, or tools to do it... sorry about the long-*** post but i didn't want to leave anything out...
thanks
