Quick question on 05 RSX S suspension
I obtained a 05 RSX S last week. I had a EK back in the day with TEIN Flex's. They were a great setup but very pricey. Now I'm looking for something for the RSX. I don't necessarly need a coilover setup. I was looking into the TEIN S tech with a koni adjustable shock. Only stress these springs/shocks will see is a hard auto x. Anyone using something similar?
imo... i'd opt for the zeal v6. its the best out there. and they are great at rebuilding. you get ur money's worth. even though the suspension cost totals to 2600. our suspensions usually are going to cost more... simply because our cars are new and our strut design. get suspension for th 05 not 02-04
and i have an excuse. i was out on a friday night..... maybe u should be too

Like I said I'm not looking for something that advanced. I had a few words with vtecvoodoo and I believe I came up with something.
BTW I was out Friday..not sure why that has anything to do with this.

I have that setup on my 03. I like it. I dont auto x though so i cant answer ya on that one. And maybe try other boards instead of complaining about this one so quickly. The dc5 community on Hondatech is not that large and people dont check it every day. Try clubrsx.com if your impatient.
I've been a member on this board back in 01. So I realize there is not a large % of DC5 owners. Clubrsx? Ha thats the last place I would take my question. I ask a question about where to get parts for the car and they give me links to neon lights and paint for the calipers. So no I'm not impatient but I've already thrown this topic in the EG/Civic EK forum. Got what I needed.

You were asking about a 2005, and we know that a system that worked great on the 2004 might not have been redesigned for the slight differences in the 2005.
And most of us just aren't having as much luck with the McPherson modifications as we had with the older cars.
I thought my choice of the Mugen SS would be a no brainer for my EP3, but the camber really is wrong. It works fine, but not as well as it should. And the really hilarious thing is that the Mugen distributor doesn't seem to sell an appropriate camber kit!
