OK i was at a gas station and pulled the lever to pop the lid. Well when i opened it, the metal piece fell out and i dont remember exactly how it went inside. Can anyone explain or post a picture of theirs lol. Without it, it wont pop open all the way and i have to have someone stand there and pull it for me. I dont have problems with anything else but this... haha

That's strange, I don't have anything that looks like that under my gas hatch.

It looks like the piece that holds the gas cap once it is removed.
