I thought this was the best place to post this, but if it's not moderators feel free to move it.
Anybody who is an ASE-certified Honda technician in WA, or who knows of one who can put in an LSD? I have a new Quaife LSD for a '98 Integra LS, OEM parts needed for the install, and cash in hand, just don't want to get ripped off by a shop or have someone inexperienced do it. Before I got the parts, a racer friend of mine who is a mechanic at a Honda dealership said he would do it, but he hasn't responded since then. If anybody can point me to a person or even a shop that knows what they're doing and won't charge me an arm and a leg, please let me know. Thanks.

Try position 1 racing! They are based out of bremerton WA, and justin has installed several LSD's into race cars with no problems. http://www.position1.net
there is also intec racing in kent, good shop, ask for matt.

Hey thanks.
I've done business with Intec before and they've been great, I could've sworn I asked them for a quote a few months ago and they couldn't do it but I guess I'm not remembering correctly... because by your advice I just called them for a quote... $300. That's not bad at all, and that includes pulling the tranny! Looks like they have my business again most likely. Thanks!

Well, I just called Intec to make an appointment and now they're saying that $300 didn't include pulling the tranny even though I specifically asked that question before. So now they want an extra $250 to pull the tranny... forget it. *Sigh* the search continues... anybody?
You, yourself, and a case of beer.
Okay, maybe one or two buddies as well. Check out Scott Lear's tranny breakdown pictures. Add a FSM and you should be cool for most of it. Then, come back and ask the guys in the Tech forum if you have any questions.

I was thinking about it... the tranny is probably the thing I understand least in cars, but I have a Helm's and I've been a bicycle mechanic for 5 years. I did get a couple of contacts so *hopefully* I will get this thing installed though, I don't feel comfortable doing it really.
Thanks for the link. Didn't really give instructions but it's nice to see pics of the internals "in real life" and the captions/last picture are funny.

I suggest http://www.position1.net as well. Justin recently helped me with a motorswap. He's professional, helpful and worth the trip.

Well I got an e-mail back from Position1, I was impressed. Sounded very professional and their prices were great - $175 tranny only, $420 total if the whole car is brought in. That’s the best price I’ve heard from a shop in any area, and I know they can do the job right too. I did get a hold of the mechanic who was going to do the work and now will probably be going with him, but for future business Position1 will be the first people I go to… I almost feel bad for not doing so this time!
BTW he said “Our prices are not the lowest, but the work will be perfect.” Well actually, they were the lowest by far! Their shop rate is less than our shop rate was at the bicycle shop I worked at!
