The video quality is bad. Either my camera is struggling with the sounds my car makes or it is just not handling the vibrations very well any longer. At any rate, its still watchable and entertaining.
It looks like a 3 car melee, but there were 4. Vesa (CRX) isn't in any of the videos, but he was right there the whole race. Chuck Reynolds is in the White Scirocco and Derek Ketchie is in the yellow one.

This is a full lap. Once again I had qualified badly and left myself work to catch the leaders. Fortunately they started racing with each other and allowed me to get up to them. This is a pretty decent ITC lap in July (1:52xxx) and has the added benefit of watching Reynolds and Ketchie race door to door for 1/2 a lap.

This clip shows the value of a good draft and also illustrates that the Scirocco, while fast in a straight line, cuts a huge hole in the air. If you can get in that hole, you can do this...

Finally, this is from the last lap.
Chuck and I had gotten some separation from Derek and Vesa via a slow FP Miata, and I knew I could outbrake Chuck in 10a so I was making one last run at him. I didn't realize until I was already committed that he had a problem (clutch failure I later found out). I had nowhere to go but into his back bumper, which gave him enough oomph in the wrong gear, and slowed me down enough, that I pretty much punted him to the win. Had I taken a more conservative approach to the corner, I probably could have just driven right around him for the win.

I'll watch them when I get home where I have Quicktime. I'm excited to get back into an ITC car again at Mid Ohio September 10-11th. We'll see if I still know how to hustle one of those things around.

Yes, and into turn 1.
Chuck was on the outside so he ended up being the "loser" and went to third place. You can see him in my mirror going up the hill. He stayed on my rear quarter through 2, but when we got to 3 I had the inside so he tucked in behind me.
Absolutely GREAT racing.

BTW - None of us had a mark on our cars (except for my rear bumper ) after the race. 100% clean.

Wish I could have stuck around and watched that one in person - I'm pretty sure the in-car from my enduro stint doesn't look anything like that. Nice to have a place where the guys running up front seem to trust one another and don't spend the entire race trading paint. Well done by all you guys.
