Removing Seat Belt from Stock RSX-S Seat
Ok, I have a Recaro SRD (USDM) which i just installed in my RSX.
What I need to know is if it's possible to remove the seatbelt connector (as well as the wires attached to it) from the stock seat without cutting the wires and resoldering. Or, if there's an alternate solution in using the stock seat belt with the aftermarket seat/rail combo.
I'm using seat rails and sliders from Wedge Engineering.
Any help is much appreciated!!
EDIT: the problem i'm actually having is getting the seat belt wiring out from the seat. the connector clips are too big to fit through the seat assembly... is there any way to remove them without cutting the wires?
i'll try and post pics later

There should be some way to get them off without cutting the wires. I just took the stock seats out of my EP today, and I had no problems getting the connector clips out from underneath. Are you sure there isn't some small gap you can't squeeze them through? Sorry if this isn't too helpful... can you post up any pics of the seat and the connector clips?

thanks. yeah, i got the helms manual to see exactly how they came out - there is a gap, but it was WAY too small for the connectors to come through. I managed by using a screwdriver to leverage the seat a little bit and make some extra room to push the wires out. i was nervous for a sec, because i really didn't think cutting anything was necessary... luckily it was not.
thanks anyway!
