can I take my thermo switch from 89 civic and put it in my d15b7 the holes on the block are the same can I use it or does odb1 have a different system to turn the fan on.

 

if not how do I re wire to make the fan turn on and off without a manual switch

 

The coolant fan switches are different between obd and non obd cars. On non obd cars they are on the block. obd1/2 cars have the switch on the t stat housing. Some 92 D series are similar to the non obd style from what I have read. hth
