Have been ordered and recieved b20 block is going to the machine shop hopefully tomorrow to be Bored/honed, Decked, the cranks being micropolished and balanced....

I blew my motor so i decided to make a post of my motor/car rebuild...
About 3 weeks ago i had a valve break and it punched a hole in my pistons and went back threw my head.....
my old motor setup was a b20b with b20z internals, typer cams and lots of lil bolt ons my car was actually really quick for having honda oem internals, i had no problem hang with the big guys, but since thats no more ive decided not to give up cause ive already gone so far, ive had my car for almost 4years and still love it!!

Since then ive picked up a new jdm b16 head, (havent took picture yet) and this stuff... AEM adjustable cam gears, wiseco 11.8 comp pistons, skunk2 stage2 cams/valve train, skunk2 manifold, hasport motor mounts this is just some of the stuff i took pics of...


any coments or suggestions are welcome
ill probably be updating this weekly with new pics and info.

Pretty much except machine work of course, but yeah i pretty much built it myself using that as a learning experience. so this time around i think im gonna be little more picky about everything like tuning and just keeping the whole motor CLEAN!!

Ditch those 3 bolt cam gears, I had a set for 6 months before they slipped and destroyed my freshly ported head

true dat Matt, i think some of the worst cam gears out there! get na cutie's spoon's, much better imo

Ive used these cam gears before and never had a problem, but since youve had bad luck with them maybe ill ditch em lol. Also were they torqued right.. my friend has some new skunk2 cam gears he told me he'd trade me cause he doesnt have his car anymore, but i dont know if their any better?
Im pretty set on getting eagle rods...
