Toda ITB users what throttle cable for ef?
My friend has a b18c5 in his 91 Ef hatch.
He has the Toda ITB's and the throttle cable reccomended by Hasport is way to long.
Which throttle cable to use?

I wonder if Len misses it more.....?
Anyway, I'm going to try the itr throttle cable..... if that doesn't work, I dunno wtf I'm gonna do.....

Bring it by. Two half-brainers like ourselves could combine and become a full brain to develop a solution.
By the way, I do miss my car.
I also have something that'll give you a run for the money with your little ITB setup.

.....well it appears that either the itr or ef throttle cable will work (tried them both). You can mount them at different places on the itb's to take up the slack.

BUT, the gas pedal doesn't seem to have enough travel from top to fully depressed to allow the itb's plates to open all the way.....! It's close, but not enough..... there's about 1/8 to 1/16 of a turn left in the itb's with the pedal all the way to the floor. And this is after I've taken all of the slack out of the cable with the pedal at rest.....
So I'm guessing I'll need to bend the gas pedal up a bit at rest to allow for more travel there..... maybe pull the carpet out at the rest point on the floor and clearance it there as well.....

if you bend the pedal far enough to get wot, the pedal sits really high at idle and makes it nearly impossible to heal toe. i have this problem with my shops ctr and am going to lengthen the upper portion of the pedal to get more throw from the same pedal travel. this is the right way to do it. the problem is because the itbs are for a toyota gas pedal which has more through than the honda.

thank you!!!
I will try to clearance the back side of the pedal first - getting rid of the carpet and stop underneath and on the floor..... hopefully this won't necessitate me bending the pedal too much.
Lengthening the upper portion of the pedal concerns me - as I don't want to change the angle/ geometry of the throw and cause the pedal to bind...
