I sent the link to my brother profusing my love for the immaculate workmanship. He asks me whether the buttons are for NOS... he was being serious.
Sean who almost cried because his 30 year old brother is becoming a red neck ricer and he really must stop that.

He guessed it, partially. The left one is for NAWZ, and the right one is for the parachute.

I haven't gotten to those 2 items yet. I basically just completed it a few weeks ago, and have been playing hell trying to get my hands on the trailer when there are open track days. I've had to subject my street car to the last 3 track days, and the CRX still hasn't made it to the track.
I'm guessing that I'm probably a bit under weight. Believe that's 2125, but I can't remember off the top of my head. I'd be lying if I tryed to pull *expected* dyno figures out of my a$$, so I won't. But, I've had several of these cars, and this is the strongest running motor I've come across. The headwork that I had done on the spare is absolutely gorgeous. I figured that I'd run the car for a year as it is, then freshen the bottom and put on the "high zoot" head at that time. It's got every legal trick allowed in the GCR.
If you want, feel free to call me on my cell. I'll answer any Q's you have.

2140lbs.
Nicest ITA CRX ever built.
Brad, didn't you use brand new OEM fasteners on the whole car?
Really people...this are is downright insanly clean, never raced....and no expense spared.
Jeremy, who wishes Brad woud come race with us, but would feel really bad putting a dent in that race kaa.

Thanks Jeremy, appreciate the props. And yeah.... I did have an abnormally large "fastener" bill with Honda.
If I had decided to keep it, I'd expect that you'd break it in with a dent or two. That's what it's there for. It's only supposed to look nice once. That time is now. Now get out there and find somebody who needs a good clean race kaa, and send em' my way dammit!

I work in Portland, Oregon and live in Vancouver, Washington which is about 15 miles away. The car is at my house in Vancouver WA. If you were trying to calculate shipping, figure it from Portland OR 97205. But hey, I did the cross country drive from Portland to New York via Salt Lake City and it was awesome. Just drive out and pick it up!
Give me a call if you're interested. I've got my cell phone with me just about all the time.

I am magnetically drawn to this car. I think its the picture I have of it in my head with some of those OPM TD 14x7 wheels in dark charcoal.
:blort:
I love me some orange race car.
Scott, still resisting.
It would officially be the dumbest thing I've ever done.

No, it would be the smartest thing you've done, since the dumbest thing you've done, which is start racing

You forgot to add.....
"Scott, who just needs to call Brad on the cell so he can come down and take a look at the car...."
You know Scott, you're about the right "vintage" IIRC that you outta be able to appreciate the logic that drew us to painting this car orange. It's supposed to be akin to the old AAR Cuda paint colors etc... Actually, it was largely due to the fact that we were drinking Bridgeport IPA at the time that we looked at color charts. I'm calling it Bridgeport IPA orange. Or, you can insert Dukes of Hazard joke {HERE}.
My cell is on..... go ahead call it! Dial with me... 503-348-6994. Misery loves company. Let's talk.
