Default What's your opinion for the Civic Si EP3 rim size?

I am debating on buying one for commuting - I have a friend (24K EP3) with 15" GABS and another friend with 18" VOLK GT-N's - they both look sick! What's you guys' opinion? what looks better?

The general consensus is that 16s are a perfect compromise between looks, weight, and handling, but 17s are also pretty good for the street (but a l'il too heavy to do any real competitive driving in).

a nice look are both the 16" 02-04 RSX wheels, or the 17" 05 RSX-S wheels.

i prefer 15s better size offerings, cheaper prices, lighter wheels.

i use 15x6.5 rotas with v-700s for perfomance, and 15x7.5 SSRs with 225/50-15 for daily driving.

When purchasing rims for your wheels. It is best to stay between 15"-17". No more than 17" because it will decrease performance too much. 15" is the minimal because that is usually the stock size other than 16". So yeah, if you want to go for looks, 17" is probably the highest you should go. For performance, I'd say get 16" because it gives nice performance and still looks good. Good luck with that **** though...

some light and durable 16's. since you said commuting.

aftermarket 15's look very odd on the EP3 cause the body is large and small rims look off. IMO 16's

On an EP3 I would go with 16's for the best combo of looks and performance. Maybe 15's for more emphasis on performane and 17's for more on looks. Up to you for the final decision tho.
