Default Still stuck on which FPR and why.

I need a FPR, but I don't know what one to get. My car has a RevHard IM and a AEM fuel rail, but Im un sure on what exactly I need to mount a specific fpr to my AEM rail, and which ones will actually fit due to my IM. As well, what extra fittings Ill need (if any at all) to make specific fprs work with my existing OEM equipment.

Here is a rundown on what I've read:
b&m... Not a real 1:1 not a good idea
AEM... has "exploded" on people
aeromotive... seems to be the way to go, but Id have to buy more fittings and lines (maybe be over board with my whp goal)

Im shooting for around 400-500whp on about 18psi on a t3/t4 with 880's or less.

What do you guys think?

TIA!

????? A little overboard with your power goals, 400-500whp huh.. And Im not sure about the 880's with that hp level.. I would get the aeromotive, with all the money you spent its not much more for all the fitting and a really nice setup..

Its just a b16 built top to bottom. Ive seen it done. Assuming I hit 400whp; I'd be happy. Any more is just extra.

Again though with my luck, Ill only hit 340whp or so... Well just have to see... Im still thinking Aeromotive myself.... but I know there is someone out there with the same power as me that was a penny pincher that has made something work (And yes I know you get what you pay for!)

You think I need 1000cc? I heard it would be harder to tune possibly... I dunno Im so confused on what to get with so much hear say and actual knowledge and experience. RC's site has a calculator and they said I needed like 660's for 400whp.... I thought it was BS. m3h=confused. :sigh:

Most people would think that an Aeromotive would be overkill for 200-250whp.. Make me laugh when you said overkill for 400-500whp..

Get the Aeromotive, its not worth messing with anything else when you can get the best..

I'll sell you my bused Paxton FPR i bought 2 yrs ago for $200+, that now just holds a constant fuel pressure rather than raising it or lowering it.

i replaced it with a Aeromotive, just some insite.

Why not get an Aeromotive that uses the stock fuel rail?

I am thinking of doing this but I wonder about the amount of flow that the stock fpr opening can do.. Is it enough for a high volume fuel pump?

Don't skimp on fuel related parts for your car. You have invested so much money into it and you wouldn't want it to get fucked up now because your FPR and its spring somehow broke causing your fuel pressure to go tooooooooo high----bye motor.

I like the aeromotive pictured above. Get that one

They say..."Perfect for use with a stock fuel pump yet flows enough to handle big pumps like the Aeromotive A1000"

I use it with a Walbro 255lph HP.

The above fpr looks great.. but I have an AEM rail... Should I switch back to my stock rail with bigger injectors and a 255lph?

lol I was just thinking... If my AEM rail uses my STOCK FPR now and stock lines and that aeromotive one uses a stock rail... then everything should work on the aem rail then lol right?

What about clearance issues with my Revhard intake manifold?

you might need to get one of those adapters made by jackson racing, to "rotate" your fpr so it doesnt hit the plenum.
