Default Weird Car Starting Problem

Well the other day I drove my '89 CRX Si w/ JDM B16A Swap across town and back for lunch... no problems. Later that day I go to start it and I turn the key and it's dead, doesn't even crank. So at this point I am thinking it's the battery, or the starter, or maybe the battery terminals. So I go out about 2 hours after I last tried to start it, and she starts right up with no problem. Now my integra had similar problems, after I replaced the battery everything was fine, but my integra was never totally dead when I turned the key, at least it would always crank.
I also remember reading something about a bad main fuel relay in G2 Integras, that caused similar problems. So do you guys think that it's the Battery? Starter? Fuel Relay?
(I checked the battery terminals and they appear to be clean)
(Also I just bought this car and it needs some major work, could it maybe be the Distributor? Spark Plugs? etc...)

Thanks For Your Time,

If it totally doesn't do anything when you turn the key, then randomly you get full power and starts right up, I'd suspect the connection at the negative battery post. Especially if it starts after you fiddled with the battery. It's weird how finicky that can be.

Otherwise main relay.

My hood is f**kin wierd so it takes 2 people to open it... anyway I had a buddy come over and help me with the hood, turns out this gold cap thing (Some f**king stereo hook up or somthing, my buddy said thats what it is) is not even connected to the positive terminal. So I poped it back on and we are good to go, so I thank you for your help. BTW I fixed the hood tonight so it opens normally now, not going to let somthing that stupid happen again.
Thanks Again,
