Default Oil Pressure sender

My oil pressure is reading about 45-50psi above 3k. I think this is abit low? Could it be the oil pressure sender that is crapping out? As far as I noticed it has been like this from the day that I wired up the gauge and its been like over a year now.... Its an AC Autotechnic gauge and sender.

I've also rigged up an oil cooler and wondering if this is causing the pressure drop? If this is the case then would I not have spun a bearing by now?

The sender is hooked up directly off the back of the block.

Anyone know if this sender is the same as the Autometer one?

oil cooler does drop pressure, but only by a few psi.

Helms says @ 3K rpm, you should have 50psi minimum

10psi @ idle minimum.

I just rebuilt my motor and replaced oil pump and I notice that only in like 5th gear, my oil pressure is not at least 50psi @3K rpms, its like 43-47ish. But all other gears its ok. The hotter the oil has an effect on the pressure reading as well.

I run oil cooler as wel...
