welll my car is a dx so will the tach wire already be wired up to work or will it have to be ran. and how do u get the plastic piece off to get to the gauge cluster i feel as if mine is gonna break

Your car is prewired for a tach. You need to remove the rubber piece off the trip reset then undo the clips that hold the bezel to the cluster.
