What a fun event!!! I love track days w/ these guys. Well run and nice cars to look at during the down time. Thanks for the pics Nate.

Thats a Vitz. Toyota. VITZ!!! This event was at Pacific International Raceway (Seattle, WA)

This was not Bob Sagara (hollywood bob). The yellow vette wadded itself up in turn 2 and left on a flatbed. The track was Pacific Raceways in Kent, Wa.

 

ahh ok.. yeah i've been watching Bob Sagara at our local AutoX (local being Tri-Cities).. that guy is pretty crazy.. damn good driver tho (by my standards anyway LOL )

WOW!!! I want YOUR camera and eye...you have a great eye for the shots...It was such a pleasure to meet you. You've given me inspiration in areas with my car that I was unsure of which direction to go. I appreciated your technical knowledge and simple approach. It was amazing watching your skills on the course. I look forward to our next meeting and hopefully Ill be a little further in my tuning so that you may enjoy my car instead of wiping my drool off of yours...

One of the instructors - the car was pretty fast too - must have had some mods done to it.

 

I dunno, I talked to Skip, one of the head instructors and he said the Saturn Ion Redline was bone stock. A great event once again Cha-yen! I seriously need some tires...

 

it was indeed stock... fresh off the dealer's lot

 

Well, supposedly the Ion puts down 185 to the wheels and the Saturn VUE puts out 265 hp and the flywheel. The vue is also all wheel drive with big, wide meets.

 

Funny comments. If someone fast, it is always the car. If someone slow, it is always the driver.

Funny how people put it that way. Give credit when the credit is due!
