I have a 95 LS Spec. Ed. I'm still trying to decide between coilovers and lowering springs. I heard from a friend of mine that coilovers get bumpy and kinda $h!tty feeling when they get old, but at the same time they are adjustable... so i'm not really sure yet. I'm also wondering about front struts, billet aluminum or titanium? Anything that'll give me some bitchin handling for sure?
good coils will make it feel like your driving on rails...but then again you will feel all the bumps and **** on the road (depending on shocks too of course). but overall coils make for a harder ride...
i would get springs, while the coils are adjustable, how often are you going to change the height??
you can get really tight springs and good struts for about $4-500
also remember, if you lower you will need a camber kit so you don't kill your tires, and if you get coils, you will also have to adjust camber each time you change height

id recomend kyb agx's and sportlines... cause thats what i have... but i dont even know how they really do. ive been sway bar less since the install. stupid lca bolt.
What are you looking to do with the car? If it's just for daily and nothing else. Just get a spring/shock setup. If you are looking to auto x/daily, look into Ground Control/Konis. If you are an all out track person, I would look into full coils.
Can you define "bitchin handling"?
What are you using this car for?
For daily driving with some drag strip use, skip the KYB GR2 and Tokico Blues (non adjustable) and step up to at least a KYG AGX or Tokico Illumina (or better) adjustable shock. Eibach Pro Kit is a good spring with that set up. If you really want a lowered look, then go with the Eibach Sportlines.
Regardless of what you decide, keep in mind you will get used to it within a week or 2 and wont really notice the difference - but you will notice every time you hit a pothole or bump.

This is a typical bandwagoner comment. "OMG look it's Tein." There are alot of good suspension setups. Tein is very good as well....but I don't believe it to be the best. The best suspension setup is the setup that suites your every need.
