i recently just purchased a set of ctr cams but how can i tell if its real or not w/o taking them in to have them measured? I know how ctr cams look like, it has the the two rings on the ends but i read on some post that they are stamped with a F on the casting but on the set i have its stamped with a M and a 2 on them (intake cam). Anyone with a set, can you verify if your cams has those stampings on it or do those markings mean nothing? Also if they arnt ctr cams then what are they? Ive tried searching but cant find a definite answer.

if it has the two rings it is either and itr or a ctr cam. i wouldn't be too depressed.

 

it has the two rings but what got me worrying was that my friend told me there have been alot of fake ctr cams out their. So i was wondering if there was any other way to tell.
