Default FI light came on... whats the deal?

So i was riding for just under 2 hours. took a few breaks while we were riding. bike was fine. i was like 1/4 mile from my house slowin down and the FI light comes on... bikes starts stuttering and popping, light goes away. 30 seconds later it comes back on, bike stalls out.

i shut the bike all the way off, start it back up, no light, runs fine. went another 3 blocks, FI light again, bike shuts down again. again, all the way off, all the way on, starts fine. limped it into my garage...

how do i check for a code on the bike? does this sound like anything thing neone has heard of before? i just filled it up with 3 gallons of amoco ultimate, so its def not low on gas.

BTW: 2002 CBR 600 F4I, 5400miles.

its like a check engine light for bikes. check your fuel system (air box, injectors, exhaust) there might be a clog. OR maybe one of your wires is bad

that is basically your check engine light, yes you can check it....it will give you a code, then you can troubleshoot it..... i have the manual for 929, anyone know if it is the same for F4i???

for the 929 you just jump the test connector and turn the key on. look for blinks.

you should be able to find a manual online somewhere.
