has anyone had this problem with the A/C??? what could it be?
check your engine mounts, and also check out the tranny mounts...i know it sounds crazy, but that the exact thing happen to me on my maxima..come to find out, it waas that!!!
When you turn the a/c on, their is an extra load on the engine, which is normally compensated with a slightly higher idle. If the idle isn't goin up, the extra load is causing your car to idle poorly and possibly stall. Also, your compressor may be on its way out causing a severe drag on the engine. Have you heard the belt squeal at all recently?
i had the exact problem with my car
every time the ac was on it would stall the car because the car was not increasing the idle
well turned out it was the computer for me. my ecu was not adjusting the idel for the ac.
same thing with my power stearing before if i turned the wheel at idea the extra load from the ps pump or ac would also stall the car
i got a new ecu and it fixed everything
