Default best set-up for daily driver

Ok I've been looking into an H22 swap but I was wondering what exactly is the best way to go. See i deliver pizzas in the car so reliability is a major issue but as a driver it means i love my car and i love speed so i am stuck between a rock and a hard place and my H23 has over 200k miles so keeping that is pretty much outta the question. now what would be the best set up to get the best outta both worlds im on a budget but not a too tight one. thanks for your input

I blew up an h23 and now have a jdmh22. I feel that it is much more reliable---better on gas mileage....i would expect that motor to b done soon enough and a rebuild would cost more than an h22------go with that

but whats a good way to get some decent reliable power out of iti love the idea of turbo because with boost control you can turn it down not damaging the engine but sleeving it is rediculously expensive so any ideas?

turbocharged pizza delivery!

i'd nix the turbo idea. too much work to keep it reliable.

i'd keep it mildly NA and if you must have all that speed, think about nitrous.

I am in your same position.

I plan on rebuilding my head with some stg 2 junk. (don't know which brand yet though) Also my tranny is going to be rebuilt with better clutch and flywheel and lsd (damn near a must when you plan on more power)

...then 75 shot of NOS!

As good as a turbo minus the full-time stress.

If youre that concerned about speed and reliability get a hatch and drop an h22 into that

Go N/A, no nitrous, no turbo. It is a Daily Driver correct? And it's a pizza delivery car so you dont want it getting too much attention or getting stolen. Drive it till it blows, swap in an H22 and do I/H/E/Cams/Cam Sprockets and see how you like it... the change from stock H23 > stock H22 should be more than enough for you, so with the mods listed above.. you will DEFINATLEY be a happy pizza boy. If you are on as tight of a budget as you make it sound (kind of like I am), then just wait it out till your engine blows...
