rotated tires, now steering wheel shakes at 70 and up?
searched and found little help so please no flamming.
rotated tires(hancook hr2) now steering wheel shakes on the highway, could it be:
-wheel is bent just a little bit.
-tires need to be rebalanced.
rotated tires back just to make sure it wasnt my axle or anything that sever and doesnt do with other wheels back on front.
any thoughts would be great.

first thing you do is have the tires rebalanced.
if the vibration is still there, then you start to troubleshoot.
its like if the toaster doesnt work, you check to see if its plugged in first.

Im having that problem now too on my 97 (mine is a combination of balancing and camber wear though). I had that problem on my old Focus too, and balancing fixed it completely. Do it, and be happy.

I bought a set of used wheels and had the same problem. Turned one of the wheels was bent. After the guy tried to balance it out as best he could I put the defective wheel in the rear and didnt feel any vibrations coming from the rear. Its possible you had the bad wheel in the rear and just didnt know it till you put it in the front.
