Default Saved a DA Today, brought it home to bring it back to life

Ok today I was out looking for a new DA.

I rolled around the local spots since its hard to find Integras anywhere In McMinnville.

Well, by some wild chance I came by a dealer who had just got a DA in 5 weeks ago and had just put it on the lot..

Turns out they rebuilt the engine but the rest of the car was RICED..

Flames on the front and this Ridiculously huge wing...
I figured, this could be a good project for me..
So I bought it
I'll put pics up soon.

Paint the hood and pull the wing and you look all set. Looks in good shape from the pic you posted.

Wow, the car itself looks to be in good shape. Did you get a discount on account of the fact that you'll have to repaint it before driving it? What's the deal with the motor? I'm assuming it's still the B18A, but was it just overbored with stock compression? Looks like a good find....once you clean it up. I'd ditch the seats and steering wheel cover as well. You could just paint the front end flat black for the meantime. I see lots of S13's in town with Silvia front ends like this. They'll run it like that until winter, then paint it while the car's off the road.

PS, that pic in your Avatar...where did you find that? That looks like Sandino from Calgary's car. Looks like it was taken on our Banff cruise last summer.

Yeah its the b18a with stock compression and overbore.

It runs solid.

A dark blue most likely, and ordering oem floor mats soon enough.

Ok I have some updates, I went outside a shot time ago and removed these ricey bolt on splitters attached to my front bumped, its a small step but the DA feels 24 oz's light, that heavy *** wing is next
My dumb *** ricer buddy who owns a late 80s model 200sx offered me 175 for that heavy ****.

So, Im gonna sell it too him.

hope your joking....

repaint it and get rid of the interior...before you repaint it, get all the body stuff you want so it all gets painted at the same time...
kill the wing, one pieces, sidemarkers, and get the holes from the wing filled...

how much was it???
