Code 5 questions, I searched...I got no answers
hey, I swaped my JDM SOHC ZC into my 90 CRX HF, it went well started up first try, but then after the I reset the ecu to check for any codes it gave me code 5, MAP sensor. Ive been doing some thinking, on my ZC vacume hoses 18 12 and 16 (which come from the fire wall) had no place to go on the new motors intake manifold, so I spliced them all together with vacume hose 21, which runs to the map sensor. I checked this set up mutiple times and im still gettin the code. I think I will change out the map sensor too and see if that sloves it.
Okay now that I have explained it, its time for qeustions:
1. Anyone whith this same set up could you tell me how you solved the vacume nightmare with the intake?
2. There is a nipple on the tranny, which is a stock HF tranny and that nipple looks to be a vacume line (I didnt have the line so I capped it) does anyone know where the line goes or what it does?
3. Could a vacume leak some where else cause the ecu to throw code 5?
4. Anythign else you guys could think of that may help solve the problem with code 5?
Thanks in advance,
Ryan

Try giving the map it's own private line. It may not be getting a good signal with all that other stuff.
