Default Complete D15B7 - 1.5L SOHC...is it worth more than 200 dollars?

I have a 95 D15B7 - 1.5L SOHC 16-valve complete engine w/ 76,000 miles on it lying around and a local mechanic wants to buy it for 200.00....I just wanted to get an idea from you guys if im getting ripped off and how much i should expect to get cuz i have no idea how much everything is worth. Thanks.

If you're a honda enthusiast, $200 is way too much, if you're just some dude that blew his motor and you have no idea how many of these are available for $50, then $200 is a deal you shouldn't pass up.

50.00 for a complete swap (ecu, harness, axles, tranny, engine) with 76,000 miles on it....i dont think so! Not even the lowest of lowballers would ask 50 dollars for this engine. Where do you get your info...?

I would sell it for 200. it so hard to sell d-series let alone 1.5.

It's a dx motor, nothing special. I blew my B16, same day I had a dx motor in there for $50, sold the B17, next day I had a CX swap for free, had a C1 that I decided to rebuild, picked up a free CX swap again from this website too. I don't know where you get your D15 motors from, but if you pay more than $80 then you must live in a small town in the middle of nowhere.

How did you know! My hut is about a quarter mile hike from Tom Hanks casa. Me and Wilson are close friends

But anyways thanks for the info guys, i didnt realize how cheap these engines went for...at any rate i just sold it to the master tech over at a honda performance shop...so im 200 bones richer.
