Hey look, another NASA thread!
Registration is open for the NASA-Virginia autocross set for March 17 at VMP. Info is available at:
http://www.nasaracing.net/autox/prereg.shtml
We are going to tweak the rules this year to accommodate our Honda Challenge racers who may want to join us in between NASA races:
Honda Challenge cars can compete in the appropriate Street Prepared class with the exception of "hybrids," which can compete in Street Modified. However, NASA roadrace cars are not allowed to to interchange preparation rules with Street Prepared and/or Street Modified.
It's similar to the SCCA rule that allows Improved Touring cars in Street Prepared. But since there aren't any IT classes for some Honda products (let alone hybrids), this gives HC racers a chance to come out and play and not worry about getting bumped to A Mod or something. We can call this the "Warren **** Rule."

I'll be there in umm... something... maybe the Italo-American Flamethrower if I can perform a few chores on it in the days previous. Otherwise I'll see if I can scrounge up a ride in someone else's car (nudgenudge AcuraRacer112 get your coilovers and Falkens
)
Already asked Karen this, and will try her suggestion... does anyone have any others?
Basically, I bonked the rearview mirror off the windshield a while ago with my head while climbing into the car. I tried to reinstall the little "button" that mounts the mirror to the windshield. Due to the cold weather, the mirror glue was extremely slow to bond, and subsequently... it stuck suddenly at a most inopportune time which left the button glued onto the window crooked. So... does anyone know how to get one of those little buttons off the windshield? Karen suggested Acetone or Toluene, both sound like fair ideas. Just thought I'd ask around here and see if anyone might've worked at a windshield repair place and knew how to get those off without damaging the windshield.
PS, if it matters, the window has no tint on it to damage with solvents.

Well... if Warren brings the rain, all that means is that Chris has to run the Pantera 2-3 times every heat. I'll aim the exhausts down so it dries up the course

There's "particularly pink-out", "robin's egg sky blue-out" (different than robin's egg blue-out, OR sky blue-out), and of course, "canary yellow-out"...
Wow badass.........
Do the colors indicate some sort of flavor?

You know they make white-out in colors now, right?

The canary yellow is musty and deep, indicative of independence of spirit, and a readiness to experience new adventures.
The robin's egg sky blue is bright and airy, expressing a blithe innocence, the essence of frivolity.
And the particular pink is buoyant and fruity, characteristic of a strength of character, a bold expression of self sovereignty.

But they all have the same... uh.... "effect", no?
Maybe i can dig around Super Wal Mart for a value/variety pack so i can verify this
