Default 96 accord fender removal

I'm having trouble removing the front passenger side fender. I've got all the bolts out except for the lower bolt near the door. It is blocked by the plastic trim piece that runs along the bottom. How do I remove that piece. It is held by several plastic retainers/screws. I removed those but it still won't come out. Are there more retainers to remove? I can't get to the last fender bolt without getting this trim piece out of the way. Please help.

the stock side skirt....you have to take out all the clips and tug the skirt either to the left or right, i can't remmeber which way and then the skirt will come off....you cannot pull the skirt straight off

it has to be pulled to one side...the it will come out

I'll give you the same advice I got when I started my job at a body shop. Look. If its not coming off, then look harder, theres always a way. Maybe have a friend look at it, someone with fresh set of eyes.

That makes sense. I was trying to pull it straight out. I'll try it your way. Many thanks.
