Sup Homie! OMG.....call me crazy but I don't think gear would've done any good for him in that one. I didn't see a helmet......was he minus a helmet....or did the emergency team remove it? Now thats crazy **** if his head made that impact on the roof of the car and he was without brain bucket.

I can see that the impact removed his shoe....

Somebody in GDD said he was wearing a helmet and removed it himself, then went into shock. Leather with hard armor could have saved him some injuries. I don't know exactly what his injuries were, so it's hard to say. Gear is always gonna save some parts of your body though. Hope he recovers well.

Yeah, they said that he was wearing a helmet. Granted gear might not have done a whole lot in this situation, but the tennis shoes made me cringe. I didn't see any "funny angles" as far as his ankles but hitting metal in low-tops can't be good.

Both my parents and I ride, as do a lot of my friends, and co-workers. Every week I am hearing about a new accident with motorcycles, so I am constantly calling them all just to make sure. Easy to ride, hard to live with.

wow .. after seeing thoes pictures, it makes me think about how easily my accident could have been like that. My head left a HUGE dent in the side of a full-size truck, but if i was any closer to her, it would have turned out more like this. Wow.

I pray for a quck recovery, and that he stays strong throughout the whole ordeal.

In this situation, i wonder how much gear would have helped. I know you should always wear your gear, but it seems that a leather jacket probably would have only prevented some lacerations from some glass or maybe metal.

Anyways .. again, speedy recovery my friend. God is obviously on your side.
