NEW Civic Si for 16000?!?
ok ok, are some people really getting their new Si's for like 16000 15000 or even 17000 from dealerships? why is that new Mexico is so stiff on their prices? this one dealership has two left that have been there for a lil over 3months or like 5months!! wTf
They can't give EP3 hatches away in Ohio. I though it was BS too until I went to my local Honda dealer in November of last year and they had a sign in the window of each new EP3 (from the previous year) with a price of $16,300. I spoke with the salesman a while and he indicated they would likely be able to move a little lower on the price to "get rid" of the Si hatches. It's not BS, nobody wants them!

I bought a brand new '05 in December for about $16800 plus tax and registration. The dealer had to dealer trade to get a silver one. I felt like this was a fair deal. If you could find a new 04, I am sure they would "give" it away, maybe $15-16000, just to get rid of it, they are paying floorplan for it with it sitting there.
In December 2002, two of us bought our '02 models for $15,995 and one month later, the third of us bought his '02 for the same price at a different dealer.
The last EP3 in USDM are the current 2005 model year. They're not exactly selling like hotcakes, but they are more popular now than they were before, perhaps just because of the kitsch value and the fact that word got around that they were available cheaply.
From what I've heard, the 2005 models are not being discounted as much as the first 2002 cars were, but even the 2005 are available at deep discounts. The last one I personally heard about in my part of the world was $17.5 for the no airbag version.

You're right, nobody wants them. I've had my '04 EP3 for a little over a year, and i've been trying to sell it for the past 6 months. Yeah it's got 34k miles on it, but it's completely stock and feels no different from when i bought it, $18.5k for me, but they payed off the $17k i still owed on my '02 WRX. I'm trying to get $14.5K

our dealership has EP3's for wholesale and some 05 models for a little over wholesale........if not all gone by now........ no one wants them people rather buy a EX, but we have used EM1's that sell so fast i cant keep track i mean a EM1 to sit in the used car lot for more then 3 days, is a damn record at economyhonda....EP3's will catch on if not at least donating their K20's for other hybrid swap.....keep in mind people hated EM1's for not being hatches at the begining
My local dealer doesn't even have any. Either they sell good, or aren't wanted
And it sucks because an '04 Si is the 'nicest' car my father would let me get if I would trade in my current Civic. We checked insurance qutes and it surprisingly isn't a big jump.

Is the K20 also in the RSX Type S? If so, what makes it have the 200 hp?
