What the hell is up with my Spoon OBD0 Vtec controller?
I just got it in the mail and installed it today. Here it is in the Ebay add I won:

Everything went smooth, install, initial start, everything. The stock Vtec X-over on my JDM B-16A ECU is 4800rpms with an 8200rpm redline, hence why I wanted a Vtec controller, to raise it up to around 5700rpms or so. Well, it controlls the Vtec point, but the highest I can get it to set is where the damn stock ECU is set at, 4800rpms.
It seems this damn thing only lowers the Vtec point from stock setting on the ECU, is this true? If so, I'm gonna be pissed I even wasted time with this thing. I really wanted to avoid buying or having my ECU chipped, or even switching to OBD1.

im not 100 percent sure but i belive you need to cut/unplug the vtec wire from the ecu. or vtec will engage at the STOCK ecu point (only when lower then the spoon set point). but then again this is theory
