On sunday i was taking a friend on a test drive because he might by my car well we went to this spot by his house thats a straight line so i launch, shift out of 1st got to 2nd then go to 3rd at the top of 3rd going into 4th i miss shift and smoke came out of the shifter so i slow down and stopopen the hood and see smoke coming from the tranny area i want to know if i sounds like i might have burn out my clutch

Ps i drove him back to his house check under the hood everything was ok, drove it back to my home no problems

 

If the clutch still works and u could drive it back and it wasnt slipping a lot or anything then its fine. If u mess up ur clutch, u'll sure as hell know it.
