Finally got around to snapping some new pictures of my rims. 15" Rota Torques in gold, yeah yeah, rip offs of the Works Emotion rims. Old rims were 15" OZ superleggeras, but unfortunately i had to cut one of them to get the swap done . So i tried going to Tirerack to order one more rim, turns out the finish i have is discontinued. Now they only make it in a Bright silver. So i even tried contacting the OZ manufacturer in Germany, but they were out of stock too.

Then one day i see these on ebay and fell in love with them. Which color to choose? Black, gray, gunmetal, or gold? I chose gold cuz well... hey i LOVE the subaru wrx. So my cousin tells me he can get a killer deal on them... $375 for all 4 rims! I figured these arent as "race oriented" as the OZs so decided to put some regular all season tires (Khumo ASX 205/50) on there for just cruising around.

whats the deal with you having to "cut" the old rim?

i like the rotas better, just lose the center caps

One day while trying to rotate my tires, one of the lugs were hard to get off on the front driver side wheel. So i took the wrench, set it straight, and jumped on it. The lug nut broke loose.... but it turns out i stripped the splines of the lug BOLT. So the entire bolt was just spinning in place.

I know, if i was more patient i could have told the swap shop to try to dismantle the front suspension to get the bolt out, but i was impatient . But then again, i figured that my rim was still in production.

Ha, i dont want anybody to mistake them for the more *ahem expensive rims.

OH yeah, i just realized, these would look really nice while in motion. Ill try to get a shot of that soon.
