My teggy has been smoking for a while but never this bad. I went to the track last friday and even the announcer thought something was wrong with my car. I did a compression test and my rings and valves are all in good condition. I think maybe its my valve seals because when I hit v-tech it blows out a big puff of smoke. I also have advanced cam timing and hotter spark plugs. If that is making the difference please let me know. Why is my car smoking so bad. oh yea it is white smoke(alot of it). Thanks

 

question does it smoke on start up and idle or while you on the gas? becasue a oil control ring can go and your compression will be fine since they are 2 seperate rings.

 

White smoke is coolant.

 

I thought White smoke was fuel? But anyways It doesn't smoke on start-up, or at idle. Its always when I am hammering on it. I am also getting a lot of Carbon Deposit, it spreads all around the back of my car, but mostly its dark black right above my muffler, it is really unattractive, and embarressing.
