jdm 4-1 header
I know this topic has been brought up many times and I have tried many searches but I cannot find the information I need.
I realize the jdm type R 4-1 header does not directly bolt up to 94-99 GSR exhausts but I have a 2000 GSR. Is this header a direct fit on my stock exhaust or do I need a new cat/flange?
Looking to purchase this header soon and just trying to do my research. Sorry about the redundant topic.
Thanks

best thing would be get a tapered, high flow cat.
btw, this is what will happen with a stock flange.

i agree, but if i were you, i would just upgrade to a bigger exaust with that header....or just invest in a jdm itr catback exaust(2.35') i believe..
