My rings went out in my B18C1. I have decided to buy a new set of pistons while I have it torn apart. My problem is I'm not sure what I should get for pistons. I am planning on keeping it N/A and do not want too high of comp. ratio. Would like to have a little extra hp for my daily driver. I do have a fully built head (P&P as well), Skunk2 IM, & 70mm TB.

hey the samething happend to me, my advice would to be to upgrade. i would do wiseco heatcoated 12.0.1 compression pistons. just make sure you have plenty of fuel, like 310cc injectors and fuel pump. then later on down the road you can do a stage 2 cam, you would easly put down 200hp at the wheel-daily driver. just reasearch.

 

Cool! I already have a fuel pump and bigger injectors (440's - probably too big?) I'm looking at some pistons now with 11.5.1 comp ratio.

I was already close to 200whp (193) with the stage 1 cams I had. Yes, I am planning on getting stage 2 cams, probably Skunk2's.
