I have a 99 civic EX CD player in my car and bought a 97 cassette deck, its the kind that is just the cassette and nothing else, just an eject buttion.
The problem is the plug for the cassette deck does not match anywhere on the back of my 99 stock cd deck. So i guess the cassette feature is meant for 96.97 and 98's.
Does anyone know if there is an adapter or anything to make this work?

 

just take the radio your having problems with to the dealership and have them match the harnesses with your radio im pretty sure they have what you need in stock. if not they can order it for you.

 

you could go to the junk yard and cut the harness out of a 97 and wire that in. thats what i would do

 

well the cassette deck dosen't have plugins...only one cord comming out...and that cord is supposed to plug directly into the deck
