I happen to have recently gutted by front bumper & I now wnat to get some fog lights(looking to add a bit of JDM flare). i was just wondering if anyone has any pics of the monting points where you actually affix them to the bumper/frame. I dont know which. Heres a few pics of how my bumper looks... (its not my car either )

 

Too late. Looks like you cut those mounting holes out. They were on the back of the grille piece that used to be there.

well if you cant figure out a way to get those fogs on there (since you cut out the mounting bracket)

Well.. F0ck... I cut it out not even thinking that one day i might want to get fogs. Dumbass me. LOL so it is on the back of the middle grille and not the two side ducts?

I really dont like the look of the air ducts, so thats probably a big nregative on it, too.

 

oh yeah, and no front mount for me. N/A is best biotch... LOL turbo seems like too much trouble to me. Im, searching for a B20Z as we speak rite now hoping to go B20/VTEC soon. We'll see how that goes

He would be better off getting a new bumper for the fogs than paying $195 for that near useless duct.

Id worry about all those fitment issues. I can nearly stick my head inbetween your hood and bumper.

yup I'm sure when you were cutting the side grills on the bumper you saw three holes/ screw like entries, those are where the foglights mount onto... by the looks of it, it seems you clean shaved the whole bumper... so i dont thing foglights will be much of an option for you....

btw... not just yours, but I see it ALOT .. what's up with people and their passenger side AMBER CORNERS? Why do most of them not MATCH up ?

on topic... you are probably better off getting a new bumper at like a junkyard because it seems like that one isn't albe to mount any jdm tyte yo foglights anymore

You cut them out. You can probably install them some way..

 

thanks guys for the actual helpful replys. I am going to try and find one in a junkyard, but a few weeks ago i called about a rear bumper to EVERY junkyard in 50 miles and NOBODY had a civic(I live in hicksville). Does anyone know of any differnces between a JDM front and rear bumper compared to USDM bumpers? I could probably find one mopre readily online than to look here where I live.

I dont really want to ghetto-rig this these fogs up... Sorry star...
P.S. that is a lip made by PasswordJDM... I kinda think it looks like bad knock-off of a spoon lip IDK...
