Default recommended spring rates for D2?

i'm gonna order a set of the d2 for my eg hatch. recommended set spring rates from the site are 11kg front and 7kg rear.heres my specs:
94civic cx
b16a turbo with a/c
full interior
with subs in the rear
daily driven not autox or anything.
current brake all around are itr 5lug with rsx wheels

i was first thinking 9f and 7r. since i dont drive it hard.
i prefer it not to be that harsh since i have people in/out of my car every now and then.

i would try them stock at first. i have d2s are they are just tough rough for the street. my springs are 13/11(s2000). the shocks also clunk like crazy in the winter. i know vancouver has a pretty mild winter compared to say...calgary...but its something to think about. d2 has really good customer support if you do run into any problems though

if your shocks are clunking in the winter, please contact me for more info, there was a problem with the first shipment we imported, and i will be glad to work with you to see if we need to set you up with a new set of shocks,

to answer the original poster, if your mainly a street car, i would tone it down a bit, and go with lower rates like about a 7-8k in the front and and 5-7k in the rear, depending on how much oversteer/understeer you like. unless you have pretty smooth roads, then the stiffer will be fine. just gonna feel a bit rough over bumps and what not.
