Both have Y80 imprinted on it. The only way to find out is the gear test. In 5th gear at 75 MPH, you should be at ~3250RPM in an LS and something like 4500RPM@75MPH in a GSR. Its a big difference.

Theres no way your at 4500 at 75 MPH in a GSR tranny. In my ITR tranny your at like 4200 at 80 im pretty sure.

by my calculations with stock tires GSR should be at 4000rpm at 75mph and LS is at 3500rpm. keep in mind that the stock tachometer will read a couple hundred too high at that point, so i can understand if your ITR says 4200 at 75mph. also the stock speedometer will read a tad high, but should be almost unnoticeable at that speed. the tachometers are a lot worse about that than the speedometers IMO.

Just from memory I've always thought I was at 4000rpm @ 80mph in my GSR. Guess I'd better check next time.

Well, I just got back from lunch and that was about right. 4k @ 80mph. I'm on 205/50/15's.
