im running the CM stg3. so far its been under 11psi nothing more but it holds really well.

it all depends how much power you plan on pushing through it. i think if its under 400whp it should be alright......anything more you might want the stg 4.....

What kind of power are you planning on making? That will decide the clutch. I'd say if its under 350 whp, then you should be able to use a stage 3. The stage 3 is much more driver friendly that the stage 4, so if at all possible, use the stage 3. I'd personally recommend a Competition Clutch vs Clutchmasters. Competition Clutch uses a slightly different material than CM and it doesn't heat up and slip as the CM will after consecutive passes. Also, the CC requires no break in and its much cheaper. I got an awesome deal on mine a while back from Lightning Motorsports (Lightning on here)

its because mine is slipping at 11-16 psi but at 7-8 or less it kinda holds.

Are you making consecutive passes? Mine used to slip if I made more than one pass without letting it cool down.

How many miles are on it?

I've had mine for over 3 years, with well over 100 passes on it and over 30K miles. I love the clutch.

Remember that you should get the least clutch that you need to get by, don't over clutch the car, you'll be miserable. If you are building some wicked torque monster, that's track only, then you might want something stronger, but for me it's been great.

IDK, I'm currently running a Competition Clutch Stage 4 with absolutely no problems pushing 415 whp. Its a little harsh, but its not too bad for the most part.

psi has nothing to do with it.. its about how much torque your putting out that determines what clutch you need..
