Default getting skunk2 cams

im ordering the cams at the end of the week and i was wondering what else i am going to need. i have a 94 gsr with 116K miles on the engine. shoud i replace the valves, valve springs and retainers? should i go with type r? what do you recommend.

i was thinking of stage one cams.
right now i have
comptech ice box intake
carsound cat 2.5
greddy evo
b&m shifter (i regret on putting it in, the damn ratteling)
koni yellow
neuspeed race springs

Do stage one if you don't want to pay about $3000 on headwork, labor, and installation. If you do the stage one you can just drop those in, get some cam gears, and I'd recommend the Skunk2 Intake Manifold. That would be a very cost effective upgrade, about half as much as the Stage 2 with its other required upgrades(springs retainers), which will only give you about 5 more hp., and I'd use the extra money to get a light flywheel. You'd be running even with type R's if not better.
