Default jdm b18c type r swap

hey, i am currently doing a jdm swap, i bought headers from megan racing with a 2.5 inch collector, and a 2.5 inch mid pipe and a greddy axle back muffler.
i want to know if i can use my stock catylitic coverter from my civic eg dx?
will i lose any power
or should i buy a high flow cat because i want to pass emissions(air care in BC)
what should i do because money is dissipearing so fast

LOL,

You have a 2.5" collector, 2.5" B pipe and you want to use the DX cat (with like 1.25 inlet/outlet?

Loose power?.... Dont ask us, what do YOU think LOL

Cummon son, pop for a decent high flow cat. All the $$$ you spent on that JDM engine and shiney new header aint gonna be worth jack with a DX converter. It's basic physics.

Check with your local regulations but a high flow cat (If its doing what it''s supposed to do) shouldn't cause you to fail emmissions.

This is a question that probably shouldn't have been asked and definitely shouldn't have been answered but I'm feeling mean tonight. so deal.
