Default Productive weekend, sorta... Avoided a helicoil, and made some room in the garage.

Well, I thought I was going to have to helicoil a bolt hole for the exhaust manifold. I got to thinking, "maybe a longer bolt would fix the problem..." and even better, I found a longer stud that fit, and I was able to get it in really nice and tight. Whew! couple hour project (remove mani/turbo, drill/tap/helicoil, reinstall) shortened to about 5 minutes.

Next up: make room in the garage for the Durango, R, and wife's car. No problem *grrrrrr* . I'm not quite done cleaning up the disaster, but it's 100% better than the mess that was occupying the 3rd spot in there.

Happy car family: Nissan, Dodge, Acura.

Built some shelves to hold crap. Wife's car still has room.

Tight squeeze, but nothing a circular saw couldn't fix!

Lotsa room over here.

Nice work Chris. Nice house too. Now you have to figure out where to put the trailer.

What did you cut to make the Durango fit? Hope it not something structural.

It sure does look funny, eh?

It was a large set of shelves built along the back of the garage. There are three 2x4's along that wall (of which I cut one). About 3' and 6' down are more "walls" with more 2x4's, so it'll still be strong. I don't plan on putting anything HEAVY up there anyway, they're too tall for that.

Trailer is going to a storage facility down the way.

that wheel teetering over the R scares me.

Great work though. You should've cut it so that it form fit the front of the durango and you could park much farther forward

I like how it seems that the R has its own separate section away from the Nissan and Dodge......as it should!

You know what I did this weekend? I offset Chris F's productivity in place of fun. [Chris N + Chris F] / 2 = zero productivity.

Chris - wondering when the party at Chris F's house is gonna be
