Default brand new flywheel with dirty surface...how do I clean it?

Hey guys,

I got a brand new lightweight flywheel in the mail a week ago but the surface had a little dust and some smudges. There is not a whole lot of oil, just smearing from where the bubble wrap was touching it.

What can I use to clean it? brake cleaner or something else? should I wipe it with a terry cloth or paper towel? not sure if that last part matters.

TIA

I usually just spray some brake clean on a paper towel and wipe away.
